Chromosome test (Karyotype)

You will receive the result within 3 days after your sample arrives to us. If you send your sample through a fertility clinic, shipment may be slightly delayed if your sample is sent together with samples from other patients.

Sperm aneuploidi
€ 700 Add to cartSperm aneuploidy examines if the number of chromosomes in the sperm are normal. Typically, 500 to 600 sperm are examined and chromosomes number 13, 18, 21 and X plus Y is investigated. The number of chromosomes in the sperm can be abnormal despite a normal number of chromosomes in the other cells of the body. Men with with normal fertility will typically have an abnormal number of chromosomes in less than 1% of their sperm.
Aneuploidy is rarely seen unless the man has a very poor semen quality. However, some fertility clinics require this test prior to treatment with egg donation.

VMF-test
